§ 22-41. Notice of violation.

  • The director of public works or his designee known as sewer superintendent shall have the authority to post a notice at the principal entrances of any premises where a violation of this article is found, which notice shall set forth the nature of the violation and the sanitary facilities affected thereby and provide a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. It shall be unlawful for any person to use the facilities beyond the period mentioned in the notice unless the notice has been removed with the city's permission, or unless an extension of time has been obtained form the sewer superintendent.
