§ 9-24. Nonliability of city.

The adoption of the Fire Prevention Code and the provisions of this article shall not be construed as imposing upon the city any liability or responsibility for damages to any person or to any property injured or damaged, nor shall the city or any official employee thereof be held as assuming any such liability or responsibility by reason of any inspection authorized hereunder or certificates of approval issued by the fire chief.
