§ 5-298. Penalty provision.

(a)

When the City of Sulphur, through its duly authorized agent, issue a stop work order to the owner of the permit in violation of this chapter, and work does not stop immediately, a fine of five hundred dollars ($500.00) shall be imposed.

(b)

The City of Sulphur, through its duly authorized agent, shall issue a fine of one hundred dollars ($100.00) for not having proper permits prior to beginning work on any project requiring a permit pursuant to this chapter.

(c)

Each day any violation of, or failure to comply with, any provision of this chapter continues, each such violation or failure to comply shall constitute a separate offense.
