§ 5-3. All buildings required to have numbers; specifications.

(a)

All houses and other buildings in the City of Sulphur shall have numbers displayed on or within twenty (20) feet of the buildings addressed entrance. Numbers must be easily visible from the street. Numbers fastened to the building shall be in the vicinity of the entrance facing the addressed street. Numbers not fastened to the building shall be affixed to a permanently anchored sign post.

(b)

Where the structure is more than one hundred (100) feet from the street the address number shall be placed on a post, fence, or mail box located on said property within fifty (50) feet of street.

(c)

The number shall be at least three (3) inches high by two (2) inches wide, and be of contrasting color to their background.
