§ 4-66. Dangerous dogs.

  • "Dangerous" dogs, which are dogs which have been trained to fight and/or attack, to protect the owner, his home, family and/or property, shall be penned up in a safe enclosure at all times, a "safe" enclosure being hereby defined as being a pen constructed as follows:

    (1)

    At least six (6) feet in height, unless entire pen is covered as in subsection (2);

    (2)

    Constructed of heavy-duty commercial-type "hurricane" fence;

    (3)

    A concrete retaining wall to a depth of at least one (1) foot completely around the enclosure.
