§ 20-72. Council authorized to delegate powers, duties, etc., of treasurer to collector for sales tax division.

The Council is hereby empowered and authorized to delegate to the collector for sales tax division such of the duties, powers, rights and authority of the treasurer of the city as it may deem appropriate in connection with the levy, collection and administration of the tax hereby levied and in these instances the action of the collector for sales tax division shall be valid and legally binding as though the action had been taken and performed by the treasurer of this city.
