§ 1-14. Establishment of the office of ordinance enforcement.

  • (a)

    The department in charge of enforcing the provisions of the Code of Ordinances with relation to violation such as abandoned vehicles, tall grass, abandoned buildings, and unsightly debris shall be known as the "Office of Ordinance Enforcement".

    (b)

    The city council shall approve, by a majority vote of the council, the person in charge of enforcing the provisions of the Code of Ordinances with relation to violation such as abandoned vehicles, tall grass, abandoned buildings, and unsightly debris. This person shall be known as the "Ordinance Enforcement Officer".
