§ 13-4. Dumping of waste materials prohibited.

(a)

The dumping of waste materials, except as hereinafter provided, within the city, is prohibited.

(b)

Excepted from the provisions of this section are the following:

(1)

The dumping of any materials at an approved dump;

(2)

The dumping of any materials for which a permit has been secured from the mayor.

(c)

Illegally dumped waste materials shall be required to be removed and all contaminated soil shall be excavated and replaced with clean soil.

(d)

The cost of removing illegally dumped materials and the excavation and replacement with clean soil shall be borne by the person dumping same.
